Η ομάδα του εργαστηρίου μας δραστηριοποιείται ιδιαιτέρως στον τομέα της έρευνας των παιδιατρικών λοιμώξεων. Συγκεκριμένα, τα ερευνητικά μας ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζονται στη μοριακή επιδημιολογία παθογόνων μικροοργανισμών συμπεριλαμβανομένων βακτηρίων (S. pyogenes, S. pneumoniae) και ιών (Rotavirus, Enterovirus, Parechovirus, SARS-CoV-2, RSV) καθώς και στην ανοσολογική απόκριση που προκαλούν οι παθογόνοι μικροοργανισμοί και τη συσχέτιση τους με κλινικές εκδηλώσεις.
